We first discovered microcurrent therapy when treating horses for a veterinarian friend.  We were so impressed with the technology that we started using the therapy on our own competition horses.  It just wasn’t economically feasible to have an injured competitive horse stall rested for six weeks. 
 
As we used the technology, we continued to develop it and improve it to meet our standards – thus Therascope was born.  We started having such great success in the equine market with the Therascope that we started getting inquiries from athletic trainers, physical therapists and cosmetic surgeons!

One of our friends, Michael Bucca, a former fullback for the Atlanta Falcons, suffered severe cervical damage during a Falcons vs. New Orleans game in 1988.  After trying different doctors, therapies and prescription narcotics, he came to us to try the Therascope.  After years of pain, he is now medication free and is a Therascope advocate to the sports industry.

Thanks to Michael we discovered that the Therascope works on all athletes, equine or human. We get referrals from many sources.  The wife of a cosmetic surgeon phoned one day to tell us her husband was so impressed with how fast her horses wound healed by using the Therascope he wondered if I would call on him to discuss how it might be integrated in his practice.  He now uses the Therascope regularly to promote healing and for the reduction of bruising and swelling with excellent results.
 
So, you can see why we are excited about the Therascope.  We started out wanting to treat our horses and our friend’s horses; but discovered that we could help people too!
